As the SUCCESS (Supporting Urgent Community College Equity through Student Services) Communications Coordinator, I reported directly to Nia Carigan, the Assistant Director of Marketing & Communication. I worked closely with the Marketing Department and the SUCCESS Advising Team to promote the SUCCESS program and increase student engagement. My duties included writing press releases, generating ideas for social media content, scheduling posts several months in advance, designing graphics for social media, posters, and flyers, attending and photographing events, writing blogs and supporting the marketing team with various additional tasks.
